Mdm Lin Dengli has been a tireless champion of Arts and Culture in Singapore for more than 30 years.

Her good business acumen helped transform a modest travel agency into a flourishing business with interests in the travel, educational and cultural industries.  Her success motivated her to invest time and energy in her Passion: The Arts.

Having been exposed since her childhood to some of the finest Chinese traditional arts and culture with their colourful compositions and meaningful motifs, Madam Lin was excited to introduce these arts which have appealed to her for many years to all Singaporeans.

Over the years, she has worked with more than a hundred performing and cultural groups and almost a thousand master craftsmen and artistes.

In addition to her work in the Arts, she is also an active Community Leader and holds several leadership positions in many associations including the Singapore Amoy Association, Singapore Lim See Tai Chong Soo Kiu Leong Tong Family Self-Management Association, Singapore Chin Kang Huay Kuan, Singapore-China Business Association, Fujian Overseas Female Celebrities Association, Ping Sheh Singapore, Siong Leng Musical Association, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce in Singapore Business Representative Office, Fujian Cultural Hub cum Tourism Promotion Center in Singapore etc. 

For her many contributions to Singapore, she has been awarded multiple awards including the The Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year by Singapore Tourism Board in 2008.  This prestigious award was presented to Madam Lin Deng Li in recognition for her dedication in advocating cultural ties and exchange by raising the awareness of Singapore’s culture, education and arts options in overseas promotion of Golden Travel packages to Singapore.  This year, she was awarded The Patron of the Arts Award 2020 by National Arts Council Singapore, which celebrates and recognises outstanding individuals who have contributed significantly towards the development of arts.
